About Me

You don’t need someone who learned about your experience from a textbook.

I grew up navigating machismo, religious pressure, generational trauma, and the quiet expectation to be the responsible one, the translator, the fixer, the good daughter. I know what it feels like to carry roles you never agreed to, and to spend years thinking that exhaustion was just how life worked.

That lived experience, combined with my clinical training and my own healing journey, is what I bring into the room with you. I’m not just here to listen. I’m here because I recognize what you’re carrying, and I know there’s a way through it.

You don’t have to explain your culture or family traditions to me.

Hola! I’m Andreina

Mi historia, mi proposito, tu camino…

I was once very proud to be a very mature person, “muy lista y madura” until I began my healing journey where I learned the raw truths about myself. Growing up in a Mexican immigrant home as the youngest child had its benefits and it’s challenges. As the youngest, I observed a lot. I grew a sharp ability to read peoples reactions and prepare for adult responses. Due to this I became a people pleaser and worked to keep the peace; I became “la hija buena” the good daughter. I also experienced the eldest daughter role without being the first born. I was hyperindependent, sought perfectionism, a great translator, the case manager, and emotional caretaker for my loved ones.

Being the sensitive one

Being the sensitive one, the chillona, la enojona came real early to me. Discernment and questions were on fire when I became a teenager. I began to challenge systems of machismo and religion and it came with criticism, judgement, and being misunderstood by las tias, familia and even friends. To repair the negative impact and intrusive judgmeents machismo and religion left on my heart I began a deep journey with spirituality, specifically the Mexica cosmovision, reiki, and other nature and ancestral based teachings and wisdom.

Soul Mission

To liberate our minds and souls from the weight of oppression experienced in our homes and communities, and pave the way for generational healing.

Going Deeper

Going to therapy, becoming a therapist, participating in healing circles, doing energy work, and exploring ancestral wisdom of different cultures helped type view life and humanness differently. It helped me create new patterns and ways of living that feel GOOD to me. I have a deeper understanding of myself, my mind, body, heart, and spirit, outside of roles, gender, and cultural constructs.

Breaking patterns

Liberation and freedom from generational trauma and oppressive “traditional family patterns” is possible. My personal experiences and my role as a therapist have given me a deep appreciation for life.

Why this matters to you

If any of this sounds familiar, the constant fixing, the guilt when you say no, the feeling of performing a role instead of living your life, I want you to know it’s not a flaw in you. It’s a pattern, and patterns can change. A change that is rooted from your heart and inner voice.
